Some clinical manifistations of pneumonia in older adults are:

tachycardia
tachypnea
with accompanying
confusion
functional deterioration
Some of the more common symptoms of pneumonia such as cough, fever, dyspnea may be absence in this population.  A chest x-ray may not show signs of an infiltrate because of dehydration.
