The following are adverse effects from the use of ICS:
It
should be noted that side effects from inhaled systemic corticosteroids
are never as severe as the side effects from corticosteroids taken
orally. The Expert Panel recommends that oral administration of
corticosteroids be reserved for only "the most severe,
difficult-to-control asthma."
