A rhythm is sinus or comes from the SA node if there is a P wave before each QRS and the P is in the same direction as the QRS.  There should be only one P before each QRS and should raise in only one direction except in leads V1 and V2.  The P wave should be closer than 200 ms to the QRS and should be gently rounded
